Job summary

The Sirius Hotel Group Ltd is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across our London portfolio, ensuring hotels remain fully operational and maintained to high standards. You will collaborate with Hotel Managers, Housekeeping, Front Office teams and external contractors to deliver preventative maintenance and drive continuous improvements.

• Previous experience in a maintenance management role within hotels, hospitality, facilities management, or a multi-site environment.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance, compliance, and health and safety legislation.
• Experience managing preventative maintenance schedules and contractor relationships.
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across departments.
• Experience managing budgets and controlling maintenance expenditure.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• Confidence leading teams and driving high performance standards.

• Manage and monitor planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes.
• Ensure all health and safety requirements, risk assessments, audits, and compliance records are maintained and up to date.
• Oversee fire safety compliance, including weekly alarm testing, system maintenance, and evacuations.
• Maintain security systems and ensure appropriate controls are in place to protect guests, team members, and company assets.
• Work collaboratively with Housekeeping and Reception teams to ensure maintenance issues are identified and resolved promptly.
• Monitor utility consumption and identify opportunities to improve sustainability and reduce costs.
• Manage maintenance budgets and contribute to overall business performance.
• Review maintenance contractors and suppliers to ensure quality service and value for money.
• Ensure maintenance stock levels are effectively controlled and aligned with operational requirements.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, hazards, and health and safety concerns, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Conduct maintenance compliance audits across the company portfolio.
• Ensure all contractors comply with The Sirius Hotel Group's Contractor Policy.

The Sirius Hotel Group is seeking an enthusiastic Area Maintenance Manager to join our growing team, creating personalised experiences to mirror our guests’ onsite experience.

The Sirius Hotel Group is a specialist Hotel Management Company, that manages two hotel brands; The Resident in London, Edinburgh and Liverpool and Marriott International's Four Points Flex by Sheraton brand in Cardiff, Newcastle, Dundee and Edinburgh.

As Area Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for leading maintenance operations across our London portfolio, ensuring our hotels remain fully operational, legally compliant, and maintained to an exceptional standard for both guests and team members.

Working closely with Hotel Managers, Housekeeping, Front Office teams, and external contractors, you will play a key role in maintaining our buildings, managing health and safety compliance, delivering preventative maintenance programmes, and driving continuous improvement across all sites.
