Job summary

NRL is seeking an experienced Area Integration Engineer with an electrical background to support a major UK infrastructure project in Bristol. The role focuses on managing construction sequencing and integration of electrical systems to ensure coordinated delivery across multiple work packages.

On-site; you will utilise tools such as P6, Navisworks, Synchro, Excel and Power BI to analyse data, drive safety and schedule adherence, and collaborate with Engineering, Planning and Delivery teams.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in electrical project environments.
  • Minimum 5 years delivering complex engineering or construction projects.
  • Expertise in project planning and integration (P6 scheduling, Navisworks 3D model interrogation, and advanced Excel).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Review construction schedules, sequences, and material availability to assess project readiness.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Delivery, and Commissioning teams to maintain alignment.
  • Develop and review construction sequences for electrical systems across designated areas.
  • Identify and assist in resolving schedule constraints, resource availability issues, and interface challenges.
  • Support resolution of delivery hotspots and promote best-for-project outcomes.
  • Oversee Delivery Work Pack (DWP) and Interface Data Sheet (IDS) processes for coordination.
  • Utilise P6, Navisworks, Synchro, Excel, Power BI to analyse and share project data, prioritising safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

We’re recruiting an experienced Area Integration Engineer with an electrical background to support one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects. This role focuses on managing construction sequencing and integration of electrical systems, ensuring coordinated delivery across multiple work packages. £68,000 per annum

  • Review construction schedules, sequences, and material availability to assess project readiness.

  • Expertise in project planning and integration, including P6 scheduling, Navisworks 3D model interrogation, and advanced Excel.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
Nice-to-have Skills
  • Experience with Synchro and Power BI.
  • Previous involvement in multidisciplinary interface management.
