Overview

Position: Area Cleaning Manager - Multi site retail cleaning

Salary: £35,000.00 per annum, company car & fuel card, mobile, laptop.

Location: covering locations across - Horsham, Farnham, Guildford

Hours: 40 hours per week

Our client is an award-winning UK facilities provider offering services including cleaning, security, and catering. With over 50 years' industry experience, they deliver national solutions while maintaining local quality and value across all contracts.

Due to ongoing growth and new contracts, they seek an Area Cleaning Manager for a leading retailer with over 20 locations across West Sussex and Surrey

Job Purpose
  • Responsible for the management of cleaning in the provision of cleaning circa 20 sites on a field basis
  • Ensure that KPI's and Weekly Checks are delivered to defined standards and corrective action is taken as required.
  • Recruit and effectively train all cleaning staff in line with recruitment procedures
  • Manage the area and site costs within budget and ensure the requirements of Health & Safety are followed.
  • Develop / maintain strong relationships with the client through regular contact • Perform weekly and monthly cleaning audits
  • Deal with employee relations

  • Proficient in IT in the use of Excel, Word & Email
  • Candidates need to be used to working in a fast-paced environment and need to be prepared to be hands-on where required.
  • A full and valid driving licence and live in / around West Sussex / Surrey areas and be prepared to travel daily.
