Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Area Business Support Officer to join the Cumbria and Lancashire Service Delivery team. We are looking for a highly organised, proactive individual who is passionate about supporting senior leadership teams. You will provide high-level administrative and organisational support to senior managers, helping to streamline communication, manage complex diaries, coordinate meetings, and handle correspondence with professionalism and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Support the area senior leadership team by managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and documentation, and ensuring effective communication across teams.
  • Manage correspondence, prioritise tasks, and ensure timely follow-up on actions.
  • Act as a central point of contact to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and support senior managers in day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate discretion, attention to detail, and a proactive approach in a fast-paced environment.
