Job description
Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and issue detailed house type designs for construction including co‑ordinating with consultants and manufacturers when required. You will also be tasked with obtaining regulatory approvals for the designs and you will frequently attend site during the construction phase to provide technical support. The role provides the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across many departments to collectively deliver exemplary housing schemes.

Qualifications
  • Qualified up to at least HND level with a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.
  • Excellent IT skills including experience using design packages such as AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of current Building Regulations and NHBC requirements.
  • Ability to produce detailed working drawings.
  • Working towards or seeking to obtain CIAT accreditation.
  • Creative problem solving and organisational skills and a willingness to learn.
