Overview

Arc Partnership is a joint venture between Nottinghamshire County Council and SCAPE, formed in 2016 to support the council in creating an efficient, safe, and sustainable land and property portfolio.

We deliver multi-disciplinary services and consult, design, build, manage and maintain on behalf of the council and the communities and people it represents. We provide value for money, quality of output, and customer excellence to support regeneration and economic growth, for Nottinghamshire and beyond.

We believe in creating meaningful change, and since 2016, we’ve been a strategic partner for Nottinghamshire County Council.

We have an opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to join the Arc Partnership’s architectural team - an RIBA chartered practice. Working within the Design Team and alongside other multi-disciplinary design and technical teams, the role will deliver a comprehensive technical service, including the preparation of working drawing packages, coordinating technical information, and specification writing.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for people who want to drive change and make a significant difference by contributing to the aims of our diverse and inclusive organisation. In addition, you will ideally have:

  • A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating of significant experience working as an Architectural Technologist.
  • Knowledge of current & emerging technical design, construction and environmental issues, legislative requirements and statutory responsibilities pertaining to the role.
  • Degree in Architecture/Architectural Technology or HNC/HND qualification in an architectural or other relevant construction related field.
  • Proficient in, and with demonstrable working knowledge of Revit for both 3D collaborative design and 2D production information output.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to use own initiative to plan and manage and prioritise own work programme, projects and other resources.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills to work effectively and collaborate with internal and external teams and an ability to exercise tact, diplomacy and reconcile differences.
