An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Architectural Technologist to join the residential team of a highly regarded, design focused architectural practice. This award winning RIBA Chartered consultancy is known for delivering thoughtful and sustainable designs across a wide range of sectors, including residential, education, healthcare, heritage, commercial, and leisure developments.

With a strong track record spanning many years, the practice has earned a reputation for its collaborative approach, technical expertise, and commitment to quality. Their projects range from bespoke housing and large-scale residential masterplans to complex regeneration schemes.

Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate and coordinated technical drawings and detailed working drawing packages
  • Deliver high quality construction detailing with a strong understanding of materials and methods
  • Support the residential project team across all RIBA stages, from concept to completion
  • Update and amend drawings as projects evolve
  • Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Ensure all work complies with current UK Building Regulations
  • Attend site visits to review progress and address technical issues
  • Work independently, managing your own workload and meeting project deadlines
About You
  • UK based practice experience essential
  • Strong technical knowledge, particularly within residential design and detailing
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Experience producing construction packages for housing developments
  • Able to provide examples of recent work (within the last 6–12 months)
