Architectural Technologist (2–4 YearsExperience)
Location: Leeds
Salary: £32,000 – £38,000
We’re working with a leading Leeds-based architectural practice known for its award‑winning, design‑led work across residential, mixed‑use, and commercial sectors. They blend creativity with solid technical delivery — producing projects that are both beautiful and buildable. You’ll be joining a collaborative, forward‑thinking team where ideas are shared freely and quality is everything.
We’re looking for a technically minded Architectural Technologist with around 2–4 years’ experience who can turn great design into reality. You’ll be involved in producing detailed technical drawings and construction packages using Revit (and/or AutoCAD), coordinating with consultants, contractors, and design teams, preparing building regulation and tender drawings, providing technical support through all project stages, and contributing to innovative, sustainable design solutions. You’ll work across a range of projects — from contemporary housing to large‑scale developments — and gain real ownership as your experience grows.
You’ll have a degree in Architectural Technology (or similar) and 2–4 years’ UK practice experience. You’re proficient in Revit, with a strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing. You communicate well, work collaboratively, and bring a proactive, can‑do approach. CIAT membership or aspirations to qualify are a plus.
A salary between £32,000 and £40,000 depending on experience, exposure to exciting design‑focused projects that get built, a supportive and creative environment that values progression, professional development and mentoring opportunities, and flexible working arrangements within a social, collaborative studio.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected Leeds practice where your technical skills will make a real impact. If you’re ready to take on more responsibility and work on projects you can be proud of, apply now via the link.
