As a Graduate or early-career Technologist, you'll be supported through structured training programmes, including mentoring and tailored development plans. Your Role in the Team (depending on experience)
  • Collaborate with Architects, Surveyors and other professionals
  • Develop detailed design and construction information
  • Support or lead the preparation of Planning and Building Regulation submissions
  • Attend and contribute to site meetings and client communications
  • Develop your technical knowledge to create innovative and sustainable design solutions
  • Stay up to date with relevant standards, technology and industry developments
Individual Duties (typically involve)
  • Produce accurate technical and detailed design drawings
  • Work collaboratively to translate design concepts into high-quality construction documents
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors and other stakeholders to support smooth project delivery
  • Visit sites to monitor progress and resolve technical issues
  • Embrace a multidisciplinary, team-based approach to project work
Qualifications
  • A degree in Architectural Technology
  • Working knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction methods and detailing
  • Understanding of RIBA stages, especially stages 3 - 7
  • MCIAT status (for more experience candidates)
  • A valid UK driving licence
  • Knowledge of:
    • Microsoft 365 and Teams
    • Revit
    • Vectorworks (desirable)
  • Strong IT and digital communication skills
