Contract Architectural Technologist / Technical Architect - Nuclear Sector (Epsom)

Location: Epsom

Contract: 10 Months (Inside IR35)

Sector: Nuclear / Industrial Projects

We're seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist or Technical Architect to join a leading multidisciplinary design team in Epsom, supporting major projects within the nuclear sector.

You'll be responsible for delivering coordinated, high-quality technical design packages, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and other specialists from concept through to detailed design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the technical design process across all RIBA stages.
  • Coordinate and integrate information from multiple disciplines.
  • Develop and manage detailed Revit/BIM Level 2 models.
  • Ensure full compliance with UK Building Regulations and project standards.
  • Contribute to material selection, detailing, and technical specifications.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders to resolve design and coordination issues.
Requirements
  • Chartered Architectural Technologist (CIAT) or Qualified Technical Architect (RIBA Part 3).
  • Proven experience delivering nuclear or other complex technical projects.
  • Candidates with experience in MoD, laboratory, or other highly regulated sectors are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in Revit and BIM Level 2 workflows.
  • Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing.
  • Organised, proactive, and collaborative approach to work.
  • Security clearance (or the ability to obtain it) is essential.
