Job Overview

Architectural Technologist needed to join a busy, multi-disciplinary consultancy in South Manchester as they look to develop and enhance their Architectural profile over the coming years.

Initially the workload is focused within the Residential and Housing sector. This will include some housing, apartments, masterplanning, private dwellings and local community schemes across the North‑West. We hope the successful Architectural Technologist will continue excellent work in this sector and assist with further development of their portfolio into other sectors: education, commercial, retail, etc.

Responsibilities

As an important member of the team here, you will be entrusted with various technical responsibilities such as preparing technical and tender documentation and building regulations applications, developing the in‑house CAD & REVIT capabilities and providing assistance to lesser‑experienced members of staff.

Qualifications

• Holding a relevant Architectural qualification (minimum 2 years UK‑based experience).


• Previous experience working on residential projects is essential: masterplanning, layout design, private dwellings.


• Excellent technical capabilities.


• Excellent communication skills: written and verbal.


• Full proficiency using AutoCAD software. REVIT experience is essential!
