Overview

Architectural Technician – Location: Yoxford, Suffolk (IP17); Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience); Contract: Permanent, full-time.

We're proud to be recruiting on behalf of a prestigious private estate in Suffolk that's home to an impressive collection of high-end residential and hospitality properties. The in-house design and construction team oversee a continuous programme of bespoke refurbishments, restorations, and new-build developments — each project crafted to the highest architectural standards and rich with heritage detail.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Architectural Technician to join their expanding design team. You\'ll be producing detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD and working closely with a team of Technicians, Engineers, Planners, and Project Managers.

This role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects — from the restoration of listed buildings and manor houses to luxury cottages and hospitality spaces — all set within one of Suffolk\'s most scenic private estates.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality architectural detailing and technical drawings using AutoCAD
• Liaise with internal teams and contribute to project planning and coordination
• Ensure all designs comply with UK Building Regulations
• Assist in developing and refining design concepts for a range of unique builds

What You\'ll Need

• Proven experience using AutoCAD for architectural detailing
• Strong knowledge of building regulations
• An appreciation for heritage and period properties
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport
