Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Architectural Technician to join a well-established multidisciplinary practice in Flintshire. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality design packages across residential projects and assist at all project stages from planning through construction documentation.

Responsibilities include preparing planning applications, drawings and specs, attending site visits and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification or degree in Architectural Technology.
• UK-based practice experience preferred.
• Strong AutoCAD proficiency.
• Experience with residential projects and multi-stage schemes.
• Excellent presentation and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit planning applications, drawings and supporting documentation
• Develop projects from initial planning proposals through to detailed construction information
• Attend site visits and ensure projects comply with relevant technical requirements and standards
• Produce technical specifications, tender documentation and detailed working drawing packages

• Prepare and submit planning applications, drawings and supporting documentation

Skills & Experience

• Relevant qualification or degree in Architectural Technology
• Previous post-qualification experience as an Architectural Technician within a UK-based practice
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
• Experience working on residential projects and taking schemes through various project stages
• Strong technical knowledge combined with excellent presentation skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills
