A well-established manufacturing company in Glasgow is seeking a Designer/Architectural Technician. The role involves managing architectural projects, producing detailed drawings and ensuring compliance with regulations. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience and expertise in AutoCAD. This full-time position is fully on-site with a focus on delivering high-quality designs and solutions.
Allstaff Manufacturing Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Designer/Architectural Technician for a well established manufacturing company based in Whiteinch, Glasgow. This is fully on site, Monday to Friday 8am or 9am start, 4pm or 5pm finish (37.5 hours per week).
The Designer / Architectural Technician will play a pivotal role within the technical team, ensuring that building details accurately reflect the product solution offered while meeting the required technical specifications. This role involves substituting tender products with internal solutions to develop construction issue details and sections that cover all scenarios, and producing marked-up elevations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing key details and interfaces that can be scheduled for manufacture and site delivery. Projects will primarily be residential, ranging in size from small-scale single properties with an approximate project size of 5 homes to large-scale multi-storey, multi-phase developments with up to 500 homes.
