Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a housebuilder's design and technical department is essential.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification expected.
  • Strong capability to use AutoCAD is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Produce working drawings for house types and adapt standard house type drawings.
  • Liaise with regional offices regarding planning and drawing requests.
  • Handle site queries as they arise.
  • Liaise with structural engineers and consultants.

Using your passion and drive to succeed, you’ll work with the Architectural Manager in producing drawings for bespoke house-types and adapting standard house‑type working drawings in accordance with agreed planning consents. Responsibilities
  • Produce and manage, with guidance, the working drawings for house types and/or adapting standard house type working drawing in accordance with agreed planning drawings.
  • Liaise with the regional offices regarding any queries relating to the planning drawings and working drawing requests.
  • Handling site queries when they arise.
  • Liaise with structural engineers and other third party consultants relating to working drawing matters.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a housebuilder’s design and technical department
  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grade 4 or above including maths and English
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification
  • Computer / IT literate with capability to use Excel, Word and database packages
Ability to use AutoCAD
