Job summary

Wernick Buildings, part of The Wernick Group, is seeking an experienced R&D Technician – Architectural Lead to drive design and development of new building systems. You will ensure compliance with building regulations, lead BIM activities, and oversee testing and documentation.

The role requires collaboration with the R&D Manager to deliver innovative, cost-efficient solutions and maintain high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles and building regulations.
• Proficiency in BIM software (Revit) and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs for new building systems and refine existing ones to meet regulations and certifications.
• Coordinate software/machinery development, training, and implementation of new tools.
• Test and evaluate prototypes, write U-value reports, and ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Create and maintain BIM libraries and standard details for BIM requirements.
