Job description

Exclusive to GRØ Careers. Not advertised on job boards, not shared directly by the employer, and not available via any other agencies.

When it comes to your architectural career, the role you obtain as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant can define the rest of your career… arguably one of the most important moves you’ll make.

This role sets the foundation for your future.

At this early stage, understanding your pathways becomes vital…

Join a studio that is too small, and your exposure/level of responsibility can be amazing, but at the cost of project scale and variety.

Join a studio that is too large, and you can work on amazing projects at the cost of exposure (being stuck on window/door schedules isn’t going to leave you fulfilled, even if the scheme is flagship).

The perfect balance?

A medium-sized studio with a reputation for designing and delivering award-winning work across cultural, residential, mixed-use, hospitality, and pavilions.

Primarily UK-led with a wider international portfolio.

A leadership team of former Foster + Partners directors that will instil a creative standard that shapes your future career.

Rich architectural exposure across all RIBA Stages, with an initial focus on earlier design stages.

Proven pathways into the industry’s leading firms, and alternative routes into design and project management.

  • 35-strong studio based in Central London… a melting pot of creative and technical minds from top-tier architectural practices (Foster + Partners, Make Architects, BIG, Zaha Hadid, and others).
  • Direct collaboration with senior leadership… thought-leaders in cultural and high-end mixed-use/residential/hospitality.
  • A track record of outstanding Part III progression/support (nine team members qualified in the last two years).
Who we’re looking for:
  • RIBA Part 2 Accredited (March or ARB equivalent) Architectural Assistant with full rights to live and work in the UK without sponsorship. Recently qualified architects (Part 3) will also be considered.
  • A minimum of 2 years UK-based experience (Part 1 inclusive).
  • Ambition to work across all RIBA Stages, with an initial focus on front-end design projects.
  • A high-achiever with strong potential for progression and responsibility.
  • Revit software proficiency.
  • Immediate availability to start (highly desirable, not essential).
  • An appetite for variety in scale and typology - project values ranging from £10m-£300m. High-end market range.
Your next chapter includes:
  • Competitive salary and bonus structure
  • Genuine work/life balance
  • Career-defining development with diverse project exposure
  • Real balance in a supportive, highly creative environment

This could be the most important move of your career. Make it count!
