Job description
Overview

Are you an ARB-registered Architect who thrives on hands-on design and seeing your work come to life?

Looking for a role where you can deliver tangible results across fast-paced refurbishment projects, not just manage from the sidelines?

Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Location: Central London (SE1) | 3 to 4 days in office per week, remainder from home.

Join a multi-disciplinary consultancy driving the transformation of the UK’s railway infrastructure. From refurbishing railway stations to railway arches, you’ll play a key part in modernising how the nation moves and interacts with transport environments.

You’ll be part of a small, collaborative architectural team that values creativity, pragmatism, and results. No endless single-project cycles here — you’ll manage multiple quick-turnaround refurbishment schemes from concept to completion, seeing the real-world impact of your designs within months.

This is a role for a “doer” – someone who loves rolling up their sleeves and producing quality design work across RIBA Stages 2–4!

Essential Requirements
  • ARB-registered, Part 3 qualified Architect
  • Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Proven background in building refurbishment projects
  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2D (or MicroStation)
  • Hands-on approach with strong technical and design ability
  • Confident working across RIBA Stages 2–4
Nice to Have
  • Experience in the rail sector
Why Apply?

If you’re seeking a more dynamic environment where your work gets built, not buried, this is your chance to make a visible impact on meaningful infrastructure projects. You’ll enjoy autonomy, variety, and a genuinely supportive team culture — plus the flexibility of a hybrid working model.
