Job description

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and technically minded Architect or Architectural Technician to join our team. Roberts Molloy are a well-respected small Architectural practice based on the Norfolk/Suffolk border near Diss, working primarily on residential, heritage and speculative housing developments across the region.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and assist in the coordination of projects from concept through to planning and listed building consent, and onto construction stage.
  • Develop design and technical packages ensuring compliance with Building Regulations, including Principal Designer responsibilities.
  • Liaise directly with clients, consultants, and contractors to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets with care and precision.
Person Specification
  • Minimum 3 years experience post Part 3/CIAT within the UK. Relevant Degree – Member of ARB or CIAT.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit advantageous) and Microsoft Office Software.
  • Technically orientated, with strong knowledge of Building Regulations.
  • Punctual, reliable and articulate individual with a high standard of written and spoken English.
  • Confident, personable and proactive.
  • Happy to work self-managed with minimal supervision.
  • Full UK Driving license and vehicle.
Salary and Benefits
  • £35,000 - £42,000 depending on qualifications and experience, based upon a full-time position (37 hrs per week). Part-time/Flexible role considered.
