Job summary

RIAS is seeking an Architect or Architectural Assistant with a minimum of 3 years post Part 2 experience to join our team, based in St Andrews or Glasgow. The role involves delivering design-led projects across stages 3–5 with a strong emphasis on technical excellence and collaboration.

The position offers a competitive salary benchmarked to experience, employer pension contribution, 30 days leave, 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, and an annual bonus.Applicants should be proficient in Revit

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using Revit.
• Demonstrable experience delivering projects through stages 3, 4 & 5.
• Strong design sensibility with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive and well organised.
• Good understanding of Scottish building and planning regulations.
• Good technical knowledge.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on design development for a range of projects.
• Deliver technical drawings and documentation through stages 3–5.
• Coordinate with consultants and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.
• Contribute to design-led project delivery and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all outputs.
