Job summary

Smith Scott Mullan, an Edinburgh-based architectural practice, is seeking a talented Architect with at least five years’ post Part 3 experience and a keen interest in residential design, existing buildings and urban design.

The role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of projects across residential, master planning, civic and conservation sectors within a collaborative, employee-owned studio in central Edinburgh.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years post Part 3 experience in architectural practice.
  • Experience in residential design, existing buildings and urban design is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Passive House design, PHPP, and Revit is beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking ability and flexibility.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and collaborative attitude.

Responsibilities

Smith Scott Mullan are seeking a talented and motivated Architect to join our team. Applicants should have a minimum of five years post Part 3 experience in architectural practice and an interest in residential design, existing buildings and/or urban design.

  • Experience in residential design, existing buildings, urban design and sustainable design practices is beneficial.
