Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Limited is seeking a Tree Inspector in Leicester, Leicestershire. The role is hybrid with full-time hours and involves site inspections across the county, as well as office and home-based administrative work.

You will inspect roadside and council-owned trees, identify defects, assess risks, and prepare reports to guide remedial actions. In addition, you will monitor Ash Dieback and contribute to treekeeping and data management.

Qualifications

• This role requires a good understanding of arboriculture and tree health.
• Strong observational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect trees on highways and County Council sites to identify defects and hazards.
• Investigate tree ownership and prepare reports to support enforcement actions.
• Monitor and report on Ash Dieback and other tree health issues.
• Maintain accurate tree inspection records and inventories.
• Update and manage tree data using computerised systems and databases.
• Issue and monitor work instructions to contractors.
• Assist with emergency responses involving trees and support forestry activities.
