Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting a Groundsman/Arborist for permanent, full-time work in Doagh, Northern Ireland. The role runs Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:30, with 40 hours per week and overtime opportunities. Duties include tree removals, crown work, deadwooding, planting, and routine maintenance on external sites.

A valid UK manual driving licence and arboricultural competence are essential. Applicants should be physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to operate chainsaws and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an arborist team.
• Full UK manual driving licence is essential.
• Excellent understanding of arboriculture and safe operating procedures.
• Awareness of safety policies and site procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of outdoor work in all weather.
• Eye for detail and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tree removals, crown thinning/reductions/lifting and deadwooding.
• Support planting and ongoing maintenance across Northern Ireland.
• Work outdoors safely with arboricultural equipment and vehicles.
• Maintain site safety and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Collaborate with team to deliver high-quality client outcomes.
