Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking an Arborist to support the transformation and maintenance of the UK’s railway structure. You will be responsible for the safe removal and lineside clearance of vegetation and trees, as part of a growing Principal Contractor and Framework Contractor to Network Rail.

You will operate and maintain all plant, tools and equipment needed to complete work, and regularly climb to provide aerial rescue support to the team.

Qualifications

• Experience with vegetation and tree removal in industrial environments.
• Ability to operate and maintain common plant and equipment used on site.

Responsibilities

• Completing all works to high and safe standards, adhering to internal procedures and industry standards
• Operating and maintaining all plant, tools and equipment necessary to complete work, ensuring a high standard of equipment care
• Climbing on a regular basis providing aerial rescue support to the rest of the team
• Working in line with risk assessments, task briefings and safe systems of work
• Removing hazardous trees, planting vegetation and trees, and assisting with light fencing repairs
• Responding sensitively and appropriately to queries from lineside residents, escalating as required
