Arable Operator

An exciting opportunity has arisen on a 10th generation family-owned arable farm in Cold Brayfield. In addition to c.1200acres of owned land, we manage a further c.1500acres locally through contract farming agreements. The farm also operates a thriving 150KW Anaerobic Digester plant on site.

As we look to grow, a skilled arable operator is required to join a small team. The role involves all aspects of arable farming including operating a Lexion 8700 combine, 8m Vaderstad drill, fertiliser spreading and relief spraying.

Use of precision technology is a vital part of the position as is a positive attitude. Good attention to detail and communication is a must, whether working as a team or individually. Willingness to work long hours along with weekends/ bank holidays when required.

Candidates will ideally possess a formal agricultural qualification along with PA1/2/4, telehandler certificates. Previous combine and drilling experience is preferable. However training can be provided and tailored to suit.
