Stantec is growing its Freshwater Aquatic Ecology Team in the UK and Ireland, seeking aquatic ecologists at all levels from Consultant to Senior Principal. Work on nationally significant projects, mentoring opportunities, and interdisciplinary collaboration across ecology, hydrology, and engineering.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aquatic Ecology, Environmental Science or related discipline.
• Chartered status desirable for senior roles, or willingness to work towards accreditation.
• Experience in freshwater ecological surveys and assessments.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead freshwater ecological projects from planning to reporting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Contribute to client relationships and technical guidance.
