Job summary

GroAqua Limited is seeking a desk-based engineering designer to support sales with equipment selection and system design for aquaculture projects. You will price, document and draw the solution, defining scope and interfaces for customers and suppliers.

You will generate technical drawings, P&IDs, calculations and design documentation, ensuring accurate costings and clear responsibilities. A methodical engineer with CAD skills will thrive.

Qualifications

• Engineering documentation focus required.
• Ability to quantify costs and define scope statements.
• Experience reading drawings and P&IDs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise Sales on equipment selection.
• Design solutions using GroAqua equipment and standard methods.
• Price budgets and detailed costings.
• Produce drawings, schedules and scope documents.
• Define interfaces and responsibilities with customers.
• Source materials from suppliers and compare quotations.
• Compile project documentation: scope, drawings, schedules, budgets, take-offs.
• Answer technical questions from customers and suppliers.
• Record calculations, costings and design rationale.
• Suggest improvements to design, costing and documentation processes.
