Job summary

Cytix is looking for an Application Security Engineer to join our Manchester-based AppSec Engineering team. We focus on integrating continuous penetration testing into clients' SDLC rather than traditional PDF reports.

You will work with in-house developers and clients to drive security testing across web apps, APIs, and mobile apps, helping identify vulnerabilities and remediate them in collaboration with stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity following our Series A funding.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Penetration Testing, Application Security Engineering, or a similar offensive security role.

Responsibilities

• Penetration Testing web applications, APIs, mobile applications, etc for our clients across a range of industries.
• Collaborating with developers and external customers to identify vulnerabilities and drive remediations.
• Performing risk reviews of application changes as part of our continuous security testing process.
• Working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to support secure software delivery.
