Job summary
Microsoft is seeking a Solution Engineer - Apps & AI in the United Kingdom to help customers modernise applications, adopt AI-powered solutions, and build intelligent digital experiences. You will engage with account teams, partners, and stakeholders across the entire transformation journey, from strategy through deployment and adoption.
You will demonstrate Azure AI, App Services, containers, Kubernetes, GitHub, Power Platform, Copilot, and Intelligent Applications, guiding customers toward
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in technical pre‑sales, solution architecture, software engineering, consulting, cloud engineering, or related technical roles.
- Experience designing, building, or helping customers adopt modern application platforms and cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technical customer engagements focused on application modernization, AI solutions, developer productivity, and intelligent applications.
- Deliver compelling demonstrations, workshops, architecture reviews, envisioning sessions, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Translate customer business challenges into modern application and AI solution architectures.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales and adoption lifecycle, orchestrating virtual teams of specialists, architects, customer success resources, and partners.
