Job summary

Atrium Associates in Cambridge seeks an Approved Electrician to join the General Works team. The role covers installation, servicing, fault-finding, testing, and EICRs across education, healthcare, commercial, defence, and research sectors.

You will work with clients in Cambridgeshire and surrounding counties, reporting to the General Works & Maintenance Manager. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years post-apprenticeship experience, strong commercial/industrial electrical skills, and a clean

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ post-apprenticeship experience.
• Strong commercial and industrial electrical experience.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, and repair of electrical systems.
• Fault finding and maintenance in commercial/industrial environments.
• Testing and inspection of electrical installations.
• Completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
• Working independently and managing workloads effectively.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and standards.
• Maintaining high workmanship and customer service.
