Job description

Salary: £35,001 + 16.5% shift allowance = £40,776 per year

FTE: 1.0 (37.5 hours per week)

Term: Open

Closing date: 16 April 2025

Job Overview: No travel needed for this job. Just a short walk to each building with good welfare facilities to come back to. No heavy work, all mainly light work repairs.

Responsibilities: We are looking for someone who is time served with approved status being essential, has experience of operating and maintaining electrical installations and systems in a maintenance environment, including LV switchgear, distribution networks, lighting (including emergency), small power, and H&V controls. Experience in minor installation works is also required. Participation in the emergency call out rota is essential at an additional retainer plus 3 hours at double time per call out plus expenses.

Shift Details: The night shift rota is Sunday to Thursday 10pm to 6.30am with a 1-hour lunch break, working 4 weeks nights followed by 4 weeks day shift of 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, and attracts a 16.5% shift allowance.
