Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking an Approved Electrician located in Birkenhead. You will perform electrical installations and testing in a manufacturing and industrial setting. Candidates must be 2391 or 2394/5 qualified and have a NVQ Level 3 qualification. Benefits include a generous holiday allowance and healthcare cash plan.

• Experience in manufacturing and industrial sector essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe electrical isolation procedures.

Location: Northwest

Responsibilities

• Performing and adhering to safe electrical isolation procedures for existing live circuits.
• Installing various low voltage wiring systems and cable containment systems.
• Issuing installation and condition reports.
• Testing and energizing systems up to 1000V, including newly installed and modified electrical systems.
• Ensuring that all operational procedures, safe working practices, and H&S procedures are followed.
• Completing any reasonable tasks assigned in accordance with your position, with the aim of adding value.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic diagrams and drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience of electrical installations and testing within a process plant environment.
• Experience of Manufacturing and Industrial sector is essential.
• 2391 or 2394/5 qualified and must have knowledge of condition reporting.
• 17thedition qualified.
• NVQ Level 3 qualification.
• Level 3 Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations
• Full UK Driving License
