Job summary

A leading staffing solutions provider is seeking a Digital Learning Designer to support the delivery of high-quality training and coaching for apprentices. This remote position involves delivering digital learning sessions and ensuring learner success through coaching and assessments. The ideal candidate has experience in digital learning design, holds relevant teaching and assessor qualifications, and is confident with virtual delivery. Competitive salary offered between £28,000 and £30,000 annually.

Qualifications

  • Occupational experience in digital learning design or e-learning roles is required.
  • Experience delivering Digital Learning Designer or similar digital programmes.
  • Proven track record of supporting learners through apprenticeship delivery and EPA.
  • Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards KSBs, OTJ requirements and EPA processes.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment for Digital Learning Designer Level 5.
  • Facilitate 1:1 coaching sessions and progress reviews.
  • Maintain accurate records within e-portfolio systems.
  • Engage in CPD standardisation and curriculum development.

Job description

This position supports the delivery of high-quality training and coaching for the Level 5 Digital Learning Designer apprenticeship. The successful applicant will deliver engaging learning sessions, conduct 1 : 1 coaching and ensure learners progress successfully through to Gateway and End Point Assessment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment for Digital Learning Designer Level 5.
  • Facilitate 1 : 1 coaching sessions and progress reviews.
  • Conduct professional discussions, observations and KSB-aligned assessment activities.
  • Prepare apprentices fully for Gateway and EPA.
  • Maintain accurate records within e‑portfolio systems.
  • Provide detailed feedback targets and developmental guidance.
  • Complete monthly visit forms and 10‑week reviews.
  • Work alongside IQA colleagues to maintain quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with DfE funding rules and Ofsted EIF expectations.
  • Build strong relationships with learners and employers.
  • Support progression planning and pastoral welfare.
  • Engage in CPD standardisation and curriculum development.
Essential Criteria

  • Experience delivering Digital Learning Designer or similar digital programmes.
  • Proven track record of supporting learners through apprenticeship delivery and EPA.
  • Teaching qualification (AET Level 3 or above).
  • Assessor qualification (CAVA or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards KSBs, OTJ requirements and EPA processes.
  • Confident using virtual delivery platforms and e‑portfolio systems.
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience of Ofsted inspection within an apprenticeship setting.
  • Coaching or mentoring qualifications.
