This position supports the delivery of high‑quality training and coaching for the Level 5 Digital Learning Designer apprenticeship. The successful applicant will deliver engaging learning sessions, conduct 1:1 coaching, and ensure learners progress successfully through to Gateway and End Point Assessment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment for Digital Learning Designer Level 5.
- Facilitate 1:1 coaching sessions and progress reviews.
- Conduct professional discussions, observations and KSB‑aligned assessment activities.
- Prepare apprentices fully for Gateway and EPA.
- Maintain accurate records within e‑portfolio systems.
- Provide detailed feedback, targets and developmental guidance.
- Complete monthly visit forms and 10‑week reviews.
- Work alongside IQA colleagues to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with DfE funding rules and Ofsted EIF expectations.
- Build strong relationships with learners and employers.
- Support progression planning and pastoral welfare.
- Engage in CPD, standardisation, and curriculum development.
Qualifications
- Teaching qualification (AET Level 3 or above).
- Assessor qualification (CAVA or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards, KSBs, OTJ requirements and EPA processes.
- Confident using virtual delivery platforms and e‑portfolio systems.
- Occupational experience in digital learning, learning design or e‑learning roles.
- Experience delivering Digital Learning Designer or similar digital programmes.
- Proven track record of supporting learners through apprenticeship delivery and EPA.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience of Ofsted inspection within an apprenticeship setting.
- Coaching or mentoring qualifications.
