Job description

We are recruiting for a childcare apprenticeship supervisor within a small chain of nurseries across Trafford and Cheshire.

Job Summary

An apprentice supervisor is responsible for guiding and supporting apprentices within the nursery group, overseeing their on-the-job learning, and ensuring they meet their performance targets and development goals.

Responsibilities

• Supporting apprentices across the settings
• providing coaching and feedback
• coordinating with trainers and mentors
• monitoring progress
• ensuring health and safety
• managing workloads and projects

Essential requirements

• Have own car and able to travel between sites
• An understanding of the early years level 2 and level 3 apprenticeship qualifications
• A minimum of 2 years working with Apprenticeships and a good knowledge of all the processes
• Knowledge and experience of Professional Coaching and/or Mentoring
• ability to review learners performance
• problem solving skills
• Excellent level of communication skills
• Excellent Project Management and IT skills
• Ability to work on their own and be self-motivated
• Will need to be DBS approved
