Job summary

A childcare nursery in Brighton is seeking an individual for a Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship. Main Responsibilities

• Working towards Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
• Supporting the development of the childcare provision.
• Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun.
• Being a team player.
• Providing challenging and stimulating activities for all children.
• Taking part in First Aid training as required.
• Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in aspects of service delivery.

• Preparation of food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea.

Qualifications & Requirements

Level 3 Early Years Educator. Your Apprenticeship will last for 14 months. You will be supported by Lead Support Coaches and a mentor within the nursery. You will be working full time in the nursery, with classroom days based online as a remote session you will need to be fully available for. Your main childcare apprenticeship work will be done in a nursery local to you.

You will have Maths and English GCSE at Grade 4 or above or equivalent Functional Skills Level 2 and be living in the UK for a minimum of 3 years in order to be eligible.

Expected Career Progression

Developing into a Level 3 practitioner, with the potential of a full time position upon successful completion. Other prospects could include applying for:

• Continuous development in current nursery setting,
• Room Leader positions, management etc.
• Springboard into primary education.
• Paediatric nursing.
