Howdens Joinery is opening a brand-new depot in Skelmersdale and inviting applicants to join as an Apprentice from January 2027. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a busy warehouse, supported by a dedicated mentor and depot team, with clear progression paths into sales, management and leadership roles.

This Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship offers training, support and opportunities to develop in a market-leading business.

We're excited to be opening a brand-new Howdens depot and are looking for talented individuals to join us as an Apprentice from January 2027. About the Apprenticeship

• Location: Skelmersdale Depot
• Salary: £16,686 plus team incentives
• Qualification: Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship
• Duration: 12-15 Months
• Support to achieve Maths & English (if needed)
• A dedicated mentor and supportive Depot Manager

Apprenticeship Eligibility

This apprenticeship is designed for individuals looking to develop new skills and begin or progress their career in this area. As part of the apprenticeship funding rules, the programme must provide significant new learning. Therefore, applicants who already hold a qualification at the same or higher level in a closely related subject, or who can already demonstrate the majority of the knowledge and skills covered by the apprenticeship, may not be eligible.
