Job summary

Yeomans Honda Guildford is recruiting an Apprentice Vehicle Technician to join our workshop team. No prior experience required; you will learn hands-on while completing a recognised apprenticeship programme.

You will work with experienced technicians, develop diagnostic and servicing skills, and progress toward manufacturer standards in a structured training environment. A positive attitude and commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 16 or over.
• Attend college and complete apprenticeship coursework and assessments.
• A genuine interest in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Grade 4 (or above) in GCSE English and Maths.
• A full, clean UK driving licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified technicians with vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Learn how to carry out routine inspections and safety checks.
• Develop the skills to diagnose vehicle faults using specialist diagnostic equipment.
• Complete servicing and repair work in line with manufacturer and company standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
• Build technical knowledge through practical experience and manufacturer training.
• Ensure tools and equipment are used safely and correctly.
