Job summary

Welfare Repair Limited in Maltby is offering an Apprenticeship as a Technician/Mechanic. You will train on a range of services and repairs, use diagnostic equipment, and work towards becoming a qualified technician under experienced mentors.

A Level 1/2 automotive course is preferred, with transport to the Maltby workshop essential. You’ll join a small, dedicated team in a busy workshop, supported by structured training through RNN Group at Dearne Valley Campus, with day release to cover motor

Qualifications

• Requires Level 1/2 automotive course or prior training in vehicle maintenance
• Interest in vehicle repair and willingness to learn
• Must have transport to reach Maltby workshop

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a safe and efficient workshop
• Complete a range of services/repairs and inspect/prepare vehicles for handover
• Use diagnostic equipment
• Remove and replace parts where repair is not possible
• Engage customers and provide good service
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
• Learn to meet/exceed job timings
