Job summary

Curtins Group Ltd. is seeking enthusiastic individuals for a Level 3 Civil Engineering Technician apprenticeship in Kendal, England. You will produce drawing information using AutoCAD and REVIT under supervision, deliver within defined timescales, and support Engineers across design projects.

You will develop a portfolio, complete End Point Assessment, and progress to higher training such as Level 4 or HNC/HND upon completion of the apprenticeship. Attractive industry training benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Apprenticeship in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Portfolio of competence-based evidence to meet KS& Behaviours.
• End Point Assessment included in programme.
• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required).

Responsibilities

• Producing drawing information using AutoCAD and REVIT.
• Delivering production information within project timescales.
• Creating GA, Sections, RC Detailing, Drainage and Structures drawings.
• Assisting Engineers and Technicians on design projects.
• Managing CAD and REVIT electronic filing and models.
• Liaising with construction professionals on drawings.
• Working to BIM and CAD standards.

What you'll be doing?

• Working under the supervision of Engineers and Technicians in the production of drawing information using both AutoCAD and REVIT platforms

• Delivering production information within defined project timescales

• Delivering a variety of drawing information including, but not limited to GA's, Sections, RC Detailing, Drainage and Structures

• Assisting Engineers and Technicians in delivering design projects

• Managing and co-ordinating electronic filing structures for CAD drawings and REVIT models

• Liaising with other construction professionals in the development of drawing information

• Working within company BIM protocols and standards

• Working within company CAD standards

Training, support and qualifications you will gain?

• Level 3 Civil Engineering Technician

• Portfolio of competence-based evidence to meet the Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours criteria as outlined in the Standard

• End Point Assessment

• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required

Once your Level 3 Apprenticeship is completed there will be opportunities to progress onto further training such as a Level 4 or HNC/HND qualification and beyond.
