Trescal Ltd invites you to join a four-year Apprenticeship in Calibration Engineering across UK sites, including Manchester. You will train to calibrate and optimise measuring instruments, learn fault-finding and repair, and work within ISO9001 and ISO17025 audited procedures.
The programme includes NVQ Level 3 and BTEC Diploma Level 3 (Level 7 Scotland) in Engineering, and in-house training across disciplines such as pressure, temperature and electrical calibration in UKAS laboratories.

We have an exciting opportunity for you to be part of our Apprentice programme, which is available across all of our main UK sites.
You will be trained to calibrate and optimise a wide range of measuring instrumentation and learn to fault find and repair equipment You will be required to perform in accordance with our Quality System and Company Procedures that are internally & externally audited to ISO9001 and ISO17025 by BSI and UKAS.
This 4 year programme will include:
Bristol, Broughton, Derby, Dalgety Bay, Inchinnan, Manchester, Stevenage, Yateley, Wolverhampton
Start dates are flexible depending on individual circumstances, no later than 1st September 2024 to align with college course start dates.
Upon completion of your Apprenticeship, you will be a qualified Calibration Engineer and hold UKAS signatory status. Your further development will move you to a Senior Engineer, Technical Lead, Technical Specialist or a Management role. There is also the opportunity to further develop your formal qualifications.
