Job summary

Vertu Volkswagen Lincoln is seeking an Apprentice Light Vehicle Technician to join its busy workshop. You will perform maintenance and repair tasks, carry out visual inspections, and complete required documentation under supervision.

The role offers manufacturer-accredited training up to Level 3 in Automotive Repair, with blocks of study at the training centre and occasional overnight stays. A passion for cars and a team-focused attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) with Grade 4/C or above.
• A passion for cars and a keen interest in the motor industry.
• Team player with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair work on customer vehicles.
• Perform visual inspections and complete relevant documentation.
• Work with System Technicians on more complex diagnostic and repair tasks.

Vertu Volkswagen Lincoln - Apprentice Technician

We are looking to recruit an Apprentice Light Vehicle Technician to join our busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for an outgoing, enthusiastic person to join the team. What we are looking for is somebody with a passion for cars.

What is the role of an Apprentice Light Vehicle Technician?

You will be carrying out maintenance and repair work, visual inspections to customer vehicles. This will include completion of relevant documentation and working with System Technicians on more complex and extensive diagnostic and repair tasks.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team. You must have a passion and interest in the motor industry, be a team player, have meticulous attention to detail and a dedicated and motivated mentality.

What Qualifications do you need?

• You must have a GCSE or equivalent in Maths/English and one other (Grade 4/C or above)

What training will you receive?

• All of our apprentices undertake a Manufacturer accredited qualification up to a Level 3 in Automotive Repair.
• Our training is held at the relevant Manufacturer training center and will involve blocks of 1 weeks attendance per module. This will involve overnight stays.
