Job summary

Windsor Academy Trust in England is seeking an Apprentice Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated school team. You will support pupils to overcome barriers to learning and work under the SENCo and teachers to deliver inclusive education.

The role offers a structured apprenticeship pathway toward Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications, with protected training time and ongoing professional development to help you grow within a supportive trust environment.

  • Classroom Assistance: You will help pupils access learning using appropriate resources, carefully monitor their progress, and assist in maintaining a positive, focused learning environment through consistent behaviour management.
  • Curriculum Delivery: You will provide specific support in literacy and numeracy, utilising a range of teaching approaches to ensure all students can confidently access the curriculum.
  • Community and Ethos: You will establish constructive relationships with parents and carers, while fully committing to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

About the Role

As an Apprentice Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role within our academy, providing dedicated support to help our pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. Working under the professional guidance of the SENCo and classroom teachers, you will be an essential part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality, inclusive education.
