The Orchards, Bentley, Doncaster is hiring an Apprentice Support Worker to help people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs thrive. You may be new to care or have prior social care experience, but your values and commitment to making a meaningful difference are valued above all.

The role is based in a brand-new supported living setting with six flats and a welcoming community. As part of a dedicated team, you will support residents with daily living activities, join in community

Your Role

Our Support Workers are our greatest asset. You may be new to care or already have experience in the social care sector as Mental Health Support Worker, Care Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Care Assistant but your values are most important to us.

• The Orchards is a brand-new supported living development situated in the heart of the local community of Bentley, Doncaster. Supporting people to flourish, learn new life skills, and achieve their dreams at The Orchards, every moment is about celebrating and embracing all life has to offer. The property, which was originally a police station, has undergone a complete refurbishment and now offers six individual flats, within a larger communal setting.
• Help the people we support to engage in meaningful opportunities and activities – empowering them to enjoy a great life filled with amazing experiences.
• Get involved in the community, support during leisure and social activities, and celebrate special occasions.
• Communicate appropriately, considering individual communication needs, and helping people to communicate effectively with others, too.
• Shifts: Rotational, 37.5 hours per week.
