Superdrug Stores plc is hiring an Apprentice Sales Assistant in Shrewsbury. You will work 39 hours weekly at £9.75–£10.55 per hour, with flexible shifts. Training happens in-store for the first year and you’ll gain hands-on experience in customer service and product knowledge.

This role focuses on attending customers, stocking, and contributing to store targets, with clear progression to Team Leader roles.

Qualifications

• You must have GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C) or equivalent.
• You are not currently in any form of education and are available for full-time shifts.
• You have not completed a Retail Apprenticeship before.
• You are eligible to work in the UK and brand new to retail.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with a smile and promote Star Buys.
• Keep the store tidy, well stocked and floor layout attractive.
• Support store targets by delivering great service and upsell.
• Participate in training to achieve Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship.
