Job summary

Superdrug is seeking an Apprentice Sales Assistant in Uckfield. You will be at the heart of the store, serving customers with a smile, promoting Star Buys and ensuring customers leave feeling great.

You will train in-store for 12 months towards the Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship, with brilliant training and real opportunities to progress into leadership roles.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and maths (Grade 4/C) or equivalent.
• Available for full-time shifts and not currently in education.
• Brand new to retail; no Retail Apprenticeship completed yet.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with a smile and share our Star Buys.
• Keep the store clean, tidy and fully stocked.
• Help drive store targets through excellent service and upselling.
• Participate in training and progression opportunities with support from mentors.

As an Apprentice Sales Assistant at Superdrug, you’ll be right at the heart of the action—serving customers with a smile, sharing our amazing Star Buys, and making sure everyone leaves feeling great!

You’ll help keep the store looking its best and fully stocked, while playing a key role in smashing store targets.

It’s a hands‑on, fast‑paced role that’s never boring and packed with chances to learn. We see our Apprentice Sales Assistants as future Team Leaders, and we’ll give you everything you need to grow—with brilliant training, and real opportunities to progress.

Your training will take place in-store over the first 12 months, so no college days and no homework! At the end of your training period, you will complete a discussion around your experiences and an observation of you performing your role. You will be supported throughout by your team and your tutor to achieve your Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship

You qualify if…

• You have a grade 4 / C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths (national 4’s for Scotland)
• You are not currently in any form of education, and you are available for full time shifts
• You HAVEN’T completed a Retail Apprenticeship before
• You are eligible to work in the UK
• You are brand new to retail
