Job summary

Superdrug in Basildon is recruiting an Apprentice Sales Assistant to join our busy store. You’ll serve customers with a smile, showcase Star Buys, and help keep the shop fully stocked while contributing to store targets.

Training runs in-store for 12 months, with no college days, and you’ll work toward a Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship. We offer 39-hour weeks, flexible shifts, up to 28 days holiday, and the chance to develop into a future team leader.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (grade 4/C or equivalent).
• Not currently in education and available for full-time shifts.
• No Retail Apprenticeship completed before.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with a smile and promote Star Buys.
• Keep the store stocked and presentable while helping hit store targets.
• Participate in fast-paced, hands-on work with opportunities to grow into a Team Leader role.

As an Apprentice Sales Assistant at Superdrug, you'll be right at the heart of the action - serving customers with a smile, sharing our amazing Star Buys, and making sure everyone leaves feeling great!

You'll help keep the store looking its best and fully stocked, while playing a key role in smashing store targets.

It's a hands-on, fast-paced role that is never boring and packed with chances to learn. We see our Apprentice Sales Assistants as future Team Leaders, and we'll give you everything you need to grow; brilliant training, and real opportunities to progress.

Your training will take place in-store over the first 12 months, so no college days and no homework! At the end of your training period, you will complete a discussion around your experiences and an observation of you performing your role. You will be supported throughout by your team and your tutor to achieve your Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship

You qualify if...

• You have a grade 4 / C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths (national 4's for Scotland)
• You are not currently in any form of education, and you are available for full time shifts
• You HAVEN'T completed a Retail Apprenticeship before
• You are eligible to work in the UK
• You are brand new to retail
