Job summary

A global engineering services company in Southampton is seeking an Apprentice Project Manager to join their Project and Cost Management team. In this role, you will assist senior project managers in delivering projects worth up to £250 million and gain a fully funded degree in project management. Ideal candidates will have 120 UCAS points and a minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths. This position offers the chance to earn while you learn and develop invaluable project management skills in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Compliance with the university's minimum points requirement - 120 UCAS points.
• 5 GCSE's including English Language and Maths, minimum grade 4 (grade C) or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-Motivated.
• Desirable - Full, clean UK driving license and ideally access to a vehicle.
• Suitability for Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in delivering projects to the value of £250m across both Public and Private sectors.
• Assisting in preparing tender and contract documents.
• Ensuring internal governance is adhered to.
• Assisting in the management and delivery of construction projects.
• Assisting in the development of works and resource management.
• Facilitating project progress meetings with the project team.
• Implementing change control management.
• Supporting senior staff in delivering business objectives.
