Job summary

Hopscotch Children's Nurseries in Worthing is seeking an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner. You will assist in creating a warm, engaging environment while learning on the job and working toward a nationally recognised early years qualification. This is a great entry point for a career in childcare with full-time or part-time hours.

No prior experience is required, and you will be supported by mentors and colleagues in a welcoming team focused on development and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm for working with young children.
• Committed to completing Level 2 or Level 3 EY qualification.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, engaging learning environment for children.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities to support development.
• Work with experienced practitioners to learn best childcare practices.
• Assist with daily routines including meals, play, and naps.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Uphold safety, hygiene and safeguarding standards at all times.

Position: Apprentice Nursery Practitioner

Location: Worthing

Hours: Full-time or Part Time hours available

Salary: Between £10.90-£12 per hour

Holidays: 28 days (including Bank Holidays)
