A childcare nursery in London is seeking an enthusiastic individual for a Childcare Apprenticeship. You will care for children aged 1-5 years, support their development and play, and work towards childcare qualifications. Ideal candidates are committed to a long-term career in childcare and must be at least 16 years old. This apprenticeship provides a pathway for future opportunities and includes paid work experience.
A fantastic opportunity to start your career in Childcare has become available at Academy for Kids Nursery in London. They are looking for someone who is dedicated to work in Childcare long term and would be looking to go full time on completion of the apprenticeship and become an important member of their team.
As an apprentice you will be included on a Level 2 Childcare apprenticeship. A Vocational Coach will visit you monthly to observe your work. To become an apprentice you must be 16 or over and not already be in full‑time education.
The apprenticeship program provides a complete Early Years Apprenticeship Standard, regular one‑to‑one sessions with a dedicated trainer, paid work experience with holiday entitlement, at least 20% study time, assessment at the end of training and a pathway to long‑term career potential. You will also be entitled to a TOTUM membership.
The Nursery will also consider candidates who are Level 2 qualified to work towards their Level 3.
Academy 4 Kids Day Nursery sits in a beautiful listed building, previously St James' School for boys, founded in 1809. It welcomes children from 3 months to 5 years in a bright, stimulating setting with extensive outdoor space. Children spend most of their time outside, digging, planting, exploring and playing in a woodland area. The nursery offers child‑led activities around the Foundation Stage, a resident chef who prepares nutritious meals with fresh produce, extra‑curricular French and physical exercise classes, and car parking for parents.
